Itsy Bitsy Spider

 Crystal Fallin age 5 as the Itsy Bitsy Spider in her Kindergarten school play.  She attended Hartley Elementary School from Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Her mom made the costume and Crystal was so proud of her spider costume.  She loved performing arts and this started her interests in dance, singing and performing.

Lola's Smile Bunch - Encouragement Card for Maxine of Tennessee

 A encouragement card with a Rose art print for Maxine of Knoxville, Tennessee.  She loss her only child on November 2020.  She needs support and love.  I briefly shared my story and Crystal's artwork with her and enclosed a  Vincent Van Gogh "Field with Poppies" bookmark with a small magnetic bookmark attached to it.   I explained to her that sharing Crystal art on my cards helps me to cope with my grief.  A parent's grief is a journey with no end.  We are there to listen and support each other on this treacherous journey of sorrow.  Praying for Maxine.

Beautiful Dreamer Card with Belle art print mailed to Frances of Bangor, Maine.  She loss her 52 year old daughter June 2020.  I shared Crystal's artwork with her and enclosed a scripture bookmark.  Only another parent understands the grief of losing a child.  It's a bond we share on a long lonely journey of grief that never ends.  Frances is in my prayers.

A handcrafted Card for Chris of Wattie Grove, Sydney Australia.  She is in lockdown due to Covid-19 and feeling isolated.  She loves the outdoors and camping.  The card is from the Little Belle Series and designed with both watercolor and color pencil drawings as well as die cutouts of plants.

 Encouragement card for Brantley of Lexington, South Carolina.  He has bacterial meningitis and has been hospitalized.  His mom requested up lifting cards to hang on his wall.  Inside the card are a dozen Sea life stickers sending Brantley a Ocean of Love!

 Crystal age 3 wearing her favorite little red dress working in the garden.  She loved that little dress with the blue flowers.  She wore it everyday.  Mom would wash it at night so it would be nice and clean for Crystal to wear the next day.

Little Crystal had the heart of a cowgirl.  As a little girl, she was always smiling, hugging, fun loving and free spirited.  She loved Disney movies 'Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King' and so many more.  She loved her talking Mother Goose that played music and rhymes.  She hugged that goose like it was her favorite pet.

Blessings in a Backpack

 

Blessings in a Backpack ensures that school children take home food for the weekend who otherwise would go hungry.  A total of 1,000 Positive Note Cards were mailed to Blessings in a Backpack at 5 different locations:  Louisville, Kentucky; Orlando, Florida; Fort Meyers, Florida; Fleming Island, Florida and Chicago, Illinois.  Positive Note Cards are attached to the bags of food to provide children with positive words of encouragement over the weekend. 

Positive Note cards had Art Prints of Sisters of the sea and It’s a beautiful Life mermaids as well as many other custom prints from Crystal Expressions.

The Snow Maiden

The Snow cascaded, swirled and blew,

in the Magical Kingdom

Of the Land of Snow;

Amidst the snow flakes and fairies.

The Snow Maiden dances,

Twirling on pointed toes

From moonbeam to shadow;

Her silhouette we follow

From forest to meadow;

Snow and ice are her friends,

The coated white earth is her floor;

Center stage from heaven

The stars shine on her,

Seeking no other;

She is the Snow Maiden

Graceful and fair,
