She’s in the Sun, the Wind, the Rain

John 3: 13 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
She sat at the back and they said she was shy
She led from the front and they hated her pride
They asked her advice and then questioned her guidance
They branded her loud then were shocked by her silence
When she shared no ambition, they said it was sad
So she told them her dreams and they said she was mad
They told her they’d listen then covered their ears
And gave her a hug whilst they laughed at her fears
And she listened to all of it thinking she should
Be the girl they told her to be best as she could
But one day she asked what was best for herself
Instead of trying to please everyone else
So she walked to the forest and stood with the trees
She heard the wind whisper and dance with the leaves
And she spoke to the willow, the elm and the pine
And she told them what she’d been told time after time
She told them she felt she was never enough
She was either too little or far, far too much
Too loud or too quiet, too fierce or too weak
Too wise or too foolish, too bold or too meek
Then she found a small clearing surrounded by firs
And she stopped and she heard what the trees said to her
And she sat there for hours not wanting to leave
For the forest said nothing, it just let her
breathe

Talking to the Wild Collection
I shall
Gather up
All the lost souls
That wander this earth
All the ones that are alone
All the ones that are broken
All the ones that are weary
And contrite In spirit.
In her time
And in this place,
She was unforgivably herself,
Full of flaws, beauty,
Chaos and imperfection,
For these are the things
That made her the most real,
And the things that
Are real in this world
Are the things that
Are loved the most…
And, there
In the mists of my memory
I see you.
And, there
In the mists of my memory
You shall always be.
Poem by Athey Thompson
By Emily Brontë
The night is darkening round me,
The wild winds coldly blow;
But a tyrant spell has bound me
And I cannot, cannot go.
The giant trees are bending
Their bare boughs weighed with snow.
And the storm is fast descending,
And yet I cannot go.
Clouds beyond clouds above me,
Wastes beyond wastes below;
But nothing drear can move me;
I will not, cannot go.
I search the sky for you thinking that if I just look hard enough maybe I’d catch a glimpse of you in heaven. I know you are there dancing with the angels.
The Snow Maiden
I shall cherish you
Forever in my heart
Be you near
Or be you far
We shall never really, be apart
As I shall cherish you
Forever, in my heart

YOU MAY BE GONE
You may be gone
but I feel you
when the cool breeze
brushes by
You may be gone
but I hear you
when the music plays
its last song
You may be gone
but I know you
as a painter knows
their art
You may be gone
but I feel you
right here in
my heart
Seashells on the Sand
“The tide recedes, but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, yet echoes on in sweet, soulful refrains. For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.”
-Unknown
Even if I don’t see you.
You are with me,
Even if you are far away.
You are in my heart,
In my thoughts,
In my life,
Always.

She was a flower with a graceful soul
Filled with passion and dreams…
A SENSITIVE PLANT in a garden grew,
And the young winds fed it with silver dew,
And it opened its fan-like leaves to the light,
And closed them beneath the kisses of night.
And the spring arose on the garden fair, | 5 |
Like the spirit of love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb on earth’s dark breast
Rose from the dreams of its wintry rest. |
