Crystal won the Gold Medal for her ballet performance Peer Gynt’s Fantasy at the Dance Troupe Nationals and Preliminaries competition held in Daytona Beach at the Peabody Auditorium, July 23, 1995. The dance is called Anitra’s Dance. She is an Arabic Princess, the daughter of a Bedouin Chief in Morocco. The storyline is based on a Norwegian fairy Tale. This was the second year in a row that Crystal won 1st place performing this dance. In 1994 at the I Love Dance International Championship in Orlando, she won 1st place Ballet Soloist for the 9-11 age Division.
